The upgrade to Transaction Reporting adds new functionality and revamps the design for a more intuitive reporting experience, while all reporting requirements and content remain unchanged. We hope you enjoy the improved features and the fresh, intuitive design.
Drag and Drop Files
Uploading a transaction report is easier than ever using the ‘drag and drop’ option. After selecting the ‘Get Started’ option next to the transaction report name you want to complete, select the ‘continue’ option and click and drag a file from your computer’s folder into the Transactions window.
Files can be uploaded using the ‘upload file’ option or manually entered into the Transaction window.
Uploading a File
When uploading a file, select the sheet where the transaction records are coming from and the sheet where the transaction records should be added in the Partner Portal by selecting the button option next to the sheet in the file.
Transaction Report Menu Options
When editing a report online in the Partner Portal, new options are available for searching, filtering, downloading and deleting. To access the filter options, open a reporting window by either (1) uploading a new file or (2) opening an in-progress report and selecting the ‘review and edit’ option.
Across the top of the reporting window, several new options are available:
- Search – allows reporters to enter key words to search the report
- All – displays all valid and invalid transactions in a report
- Valid – displays all transactions without error
- Invalid – displays transactions with error
- Filter by error – displays invalid transactions by error type
- Actions – allows reporters to download a copy of the report or delete report rows
Field Menu Options
Once reporting information is entered in the Transaction Reporting window, additional options are available for each field. Reporters can view and select sorting options by hovering over the three dots in the column title.
Adding Transactions to an In-Progress Report
Reporters now have additional options to add transactions to in-progress reports. On the Transaction Reports page, select the ‘Update Transactions’ option, then ‘Continue Report.’
Option 1: Manually enter any additional transactions by typing directly into the data table. To do this, simply click the "Review & Edit" button, and type or copy and paste your transactions into an empty row in the data table. Once you are done, click "Save Data" and then submit your report.
Option 2: Drag and drop a file (.csv, .tsv, .xls, .xlsx, .xml or .txt) containing only the new transactions into the data table. This will upload the new transactions while keeping all previous transactions that were already entered. NOTE: If choosing this method, please upload a file that contains ONLY the new transactions. A file with both new and previous transactions will cause the existing transactions to duplicate.
If you prefer to start over and replace all data you have provided so far, you can download the existing report, from the ‘Need to add more transactions?’ box and then select the option to start over.
